The Mood Disorders Research Program and Clinic is the National Coordinating Center for the EMBARC study. This division of the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center focuses on understanding neurobiology and psychology of depression and mood disorders, with a particular attention on identifying biological and psychological differences. Madhukar H. Trivedi, M.D., the director of the program and a clinical research scientist, is a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern.
